A paradigm that reflects an artist’s philosophy is something that the contemporary art world puts much importance on. However, this forces the notion that art must possess a certain concept of a profound nature and easily becomes a mere logical search that overemphasizes the role of the subject to induce a discourse. This sometimes obstructs the original concept of art. Originally, art was a genre whereby the artist recreates and interprets the reality observed through the individual mindset or sensual perspective, expressed via varying techniques.
This Musing Slowly draws interest by introducing works that are comfortable but still have depth, those that the general public can also appreciate rather than that tell a complex and conceptual story.
These three artists will present works that do not require the viewer to go beyond intuition to comprehend the inner world of the work but are simply appreciable through the eye. In this exhibition, viewers will be able to immerse in the comforting charm of the works created purely through the artist’s eye for beauty.
