In the early days, Jeongmin Yu presents works with the process of repeatedly stacking or melting various materials. His furniture is a series that shows various designs that can be expressed as a material. His representative <Arch series> and <Spline Series> series are inspired from the properties of plywood materials. There is no fixed force in plywood, but Yu was fascinated by the process of free bending. He designed furniture to be expressed in a free curve around the basic shape of the arch. Through his work, he expressed images of various curves and presented rhymes created by furniture.

Having enjoyed doing things with his hands since childhood, the artist is interested in expressing a new perspective with materials that are readily available around him. His work, which begins with observing things, is completed by repeating and changing and discovering values. Yu draws out the potential of matter and pursues a natural form that nature can express.
